It's no longer a mystery that the BMW X3 2023 is already under development and might make its public debut as early as 2024. The brand-new X3 was first discovered in June 2022, and spy photographs from that time indicate that it would follow the anticipated new design trend.
The circular quad exhaust pipes were visible in the first sighting of the new BMW X3, indicating that it is a M Performance model. Be aware that BMW has intentions to replace the M40i designation with M50i, although as of this writing, nothing is official.
It's interesting to note that while completing scorching laps around the Nurburgring, the new BMW X3 was once more sighted out in the open. The X3 with quad exhaust pipes is depicted in the YouTube video that CarSpyMedia released, indicating that it would sport the coveted M badge. The car is still covered in the recognizable white-on-black camouflage, so not much can be seen on it as it travels through the Green Hell.
However, based on the prior images that our keen photographers have provided, the new BMW X3 may feature larger kidney grilles and a revised lower grille. We also have images of the future X3's interior, which has a layout similar to that of the brand-new BMW 5 Series.
It has a single screen layout, indicating that the next X3 would have a totally digital screen. If the X3's infotainment system uses the same operating system as the 5 Series, it will be able to stream videos and provide in-car gaming.
The X3 PHEV, which was initially sighted last year, was also visible performing a test run around the Nurburgring in the same video. Due to the required yellow label on the back windshield, it is clearly visible. It first occurred at the 0:46 and 1:34 marks of the video, respectively.
